About
MultiFRAX is a portable, non-ablative fractional laser combining a 1550 nm and a 1927 nm wavelength in one handpiece. The two wavelengths can be used separately or at the same time, giving the practitioner control over treatment depth for scars, wrinkles, pigmentation and skin laxity.

How to use
MultiFRAX in the treatment room, step by step.
- 01
Choose the wavelength mode
Select 1550 nm (non-ablative), 1927 nm (sub-ablative) or both at once — HybridFRAX — with independent energy control for each wavelength.
- 02
Set the spot size
Adjust the treatment width between 2 and 14 mm in 1 mm steps to match the area and the indication.
- 03
Set the spacing between microcolumns
Choose 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 mm. Tighter spacing gives higher density; wider spacing gives a lighter treatment.
- 04
Fit a single-use tip
Each treatment uses a fresh tip. The skin-contact sensor sits in the tip.
- 05
Read the Smart Sense feedback
The tip lights yellow when the device is ready, blue on proper skin contact and red if the handpiece moves too fast.
- 06
Treat in passes
The movement sensor triggers the laser as you move the handpiece across the area, at up to 2 cm/s.

- HybridFRAX
- Two diode wavelengths in one handpiece. 1550 nm works non-ablatively in the dermis; 1927 nm works sub-ablatively closer to the surface. Fired together, both skin layers are treated in a single pass.
- Portable by design
- A 330 g handpiece and a 350 g battery pack replace the cart. The battery is rechargeable and the device needs no cooling.
- Indications
- Atrophic and hypertrophic scars, wrinkles and expression lines, pigmentation and melasma (1927 nm), stretch marks, skin laxity, and overall texture and tone.
