About
Celluti is a single-use patch containing black diamond particles, placed on the skin under a rigid lens. When a Q-switched or picosecond 1064 nm Nd:YAG fires through the lens, the diamond layer expands instantly and releases a high-intensity shockwave through the dermis into the subcutaneous fat, where it shears the fibrous septa that tether cellulite dimples. The manufacturer calls it acoustic subcision.
Treatment possibilities
Indications from the manufacturer's documentation. Each links to the treatment page.
How to use
Celluti in the treatment room, step by step.
- 01
Prepare
Clean and mark the area. Trim the patch if needed and attach it matte side down, without wrinkles. Apply ultrasound gel over the patch.
- 02
Place the lens
Press the lens firmly onto the patch and remove all air bubbles. Goggles for everyone in the room.
- 03
Laser
Fire through the lens in uniform passes. Manufacturer's protocol: 3–5 mm spot, 3–5 J/cm², 10–20 Hz; do not irradiate the same spot continuously for more than four seconds.
- 04
Move on
Shift to the next black, unexposed zone. Never fire again on a bleached area.
- 05
Finish
Remove the patch and wipe off residue. About ten minutes per area. Bruising, swelling and redness are the expected endpoint.
- 06
Course
Two to three sessions, two to four weeks apart (manufacturer protocol).

Detailed information
Technology, indications and specifications as documented by Simfle Stick Co., Ltd.

- Laser to shockwave
- The black diamond layer absorbs the 1064 nm beam and expands thermoelastically; because the lens is rigid, the pressure wave cannot escape upwards and travels down through the dermis into the fat layer.
- Acoustic subcision
- The shockwave is set above the tissue-disruption threshold: in the manufacturer's ex-vivo work it shears fibrous septa and disrupts fat cells, the structures behind cellulite dimpling.
- Kit
- A trimmable single-use patch (one sheet per pouch) and a reusable compression lens. The patch bleaches where it has been used, so the operator sees what has been treated.
- Also described by the manufacturer
- Dermal tightening and contouring protocols, and use alongside R-zero in tattoo removal — the latter with the manufacturer's own note that more clinical studies are needed.

Cautions
- Goggles are mandatory; the lens must sit firmly with no air bubbles
- Never repeat on the same spot; max four seconds continuous irradiation per spot
- Expect bruising, swelling and redness after treatment
- No contraindication list has been published by the manufacturer; apply the usual laser contraindications
Publications
Published evidence is a two-patient keloid case series in which Celluti was combined with steroid injection. The cellulite data is the manufacturer's own ex-vivo and case material.
